Vintage 1971 Gibson SB300 Bass Guitar Walnut Good Condition OHSC
Selling a USA made G&L Interceptor bass guitar. According to the serial number, this one was made in 1988. These are impossible to find, especially in this color scheme. I've never seen another Interceptor in the cream/sparkle green finish. The bass is in immaculate condition for being 22 years old! Has been played very very little.
The stock G&L pickups on this bass are amongst the best that I have ever heard. Very versatile and can be dialed in to get pretty much any sound that you desire. The condition of the bass is excellent plus. There are 4 dings on the headstock, and some very fine and hard to see finish checking on the back side of the upper bout as well as at the lower bout by the neck pocket. These are NOT cracks, but simply finish checking. Also, there is tarnishing on the bridge. Details are shown in the pictures. Other than that, the bass looks brand new! Action is nice and low with no buzzing anywhere on the neck. ZERO fretwear! This is an absolutely beautiful example of this hard to find bass. Winning bidder will not be disappointed whatsoever.
The bass is all original and unmolested! Comes with it's original hardshell case, original store price tag ($1179 list back in 1988!!!!) and a G&L inspection and setup letter.
This is a collector's bass in collector quality and will only appreciate in value over time. Starting the auction at $899 with no reserve. Somebody is going to get a great deal!
