You are buying a 2001 Fender Fretless Jazz Bass in dark purple, which is not currently available form Fender. This is a quality made in Mexico instrument. This version has fret lines on the fingerboard which makes playing a snap even if you've never played a fretless before. I couldn't get the color to turn out correctly with the flash, but it's definiatly purple in real life, about the shade of a grape Tootsie Roll Pop LOL. Looks very good, plays fine, sounds great!
